Tips for Letting Our Senses Lead Us to Prayer (Part 1)

(1 minute read)

St. Paul tells us: “Pray without ceasing.” (1 Thes 5: 17). This week I have 3 tips for using your senses when you and your family are in the car to remind you to bring God and prayer into your everyday life!

While Driving:

  1. If you hear construction noise, pray for workers.
  2. If you see a hospital or cemetery, pray for the sick or those who have died.
  3. If you smell garbage or another bad smell, pray for those who live in poverty.

What are some other ways you can use your senses to bring God or prayer into your time in the car? Ask your family for their ideas.
